The domestic agricultural sector is a principal source of livelihood and employment for Filipinos yet challenges remain on how to scale up the sector’s productivity, embrace transformative solutions, and meet the evolving needs of stakeholders. The Department of Agriculture, under the leadership of newly-appointed Acting Secretary William Dar, embarks to address these concerns with its so-called eight new paradigms to level up Philippine agriculture.
