The two countries relationship is becoming increasingly important especially with the current landscape of the Foreign Policy of the Philippines towards other countries. The return of the Balangiga bells, the continued success of the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FLYPO), and strengthened military alliance and practices are among its fundamental success.

The current Philippine representative to the U.S., Ambassador Babe Romualdez will speak before AmCham members with regard to the update, status, and the future of the U.S. and the Philippine bilateral relations.
