EGGDROP, a premium egg sandwich brand from South Korea, has opened its first store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia. The launch attracted significant attention, with customers eager to try signature sandwiches like the Garlic Bacon Cheese, Avo Holic, and Mr. Egg.

Stuart Wong, head of EGGDROP Philippines, expressed his enthusiasm for bringing the brand to Manila after seeing it featured in the Korean drama “Hospital Playlist.” Han Kyu-won, head of design and operations at EGGDROP, noted that the Philippines is an ideal market due to its young population and growing middle class.

The brand’s presence on social media grew rapidly with positive reviews and comments such as “The best toast I’ve ever had!” appearing frequently. EGGDROP emphasizes quality by using local supply chains while maintaining its iconic taste through high standards.

Han also announced plans for a second store in Bonifacio Global City by early 2025 as part of their expansion strategy across Asia. Stuart Wong described the experience of enjoying an EGGDROP sandwich as unforgettable and expressed excitement about introducing it to Filipinos.
