CoinEx has announced its sponsorship of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) Chess Championships. The event is scheduled to take place from March 13 to 16 at the FPJ Arena in San Jose, Batangas. This tournament will gather top chess talents from across the country, offering them a platform to showcase their skills and compete for a chance to represent the Philippines internationally.

The champions in each category will earn the opportunity to participate in the Asian Youth Chess Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand. CoinEx’s involvement underscores its commitment to supporting sports and youth development in the region.

In addition to sponsoring the event, CoinEx is collaborating with Anichess, an online chess game developed by Animoca Brands in partnership with Chess.com. Anichess introduces a unique twist by incorporating spells into traditional gameplay. This collaboration aims to bring innovation and modern gaming elements to the chess community.

CoinEx’s participation aligns with its mission to support education, sports, and technology. The company aims to promote chess as a tool for developing critical thinking and discipline among young players. The partnership with AniChess also highlights blockchain technology’s potential to revolutionize traditional games.

CoinEx was established in 2017 as a global cryptocurrency exchange committed to simplifying trading. It offers services like spot trading and financial management for over 10 million users worldwide.

“CoinEx is honored to be part of this journey, supporting the growth of chess in the Philippines and empowering the next generation of chess champions,” said CoinEx Global Limited.
