The Legislative Committee (LegCom) online regular meeting on October 28, 2020 (Wednesday) from 9:30 to 11:30 AM via Zoom will be a joint committee meeting with the Manufacturing Committee, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Committee, and Financial Services, Tariffs and Taxes (FSTT) Committee.

In addition to the usual update of the status of priority legislation of the Joint Foreign Chambers and Philippine Business Groups, this meeting will focus on the status and content of CREATE (corporate income tax and fiscal incentives) which is nearing its enactment stage after almost three years of congressional consideration. CREATE will reduce taxes for all corporations but also may have important tax consequences for firms under the Manufacturing and ICT industries.
