ABOUT THE EVENT:

Governments across the world are now faced with the twin challenges of slowing down the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and putting their respective economies back on track, including the food and agriculture sector. In the Philippines, the Department of Agriculture introduced the “Plant, Plant, Plant” program to serve as the umbrella initiative of the government’s various policy measures for the sector such as rice productivity, expanded agricultural insurance, direct marketing, and urban agriculture, among others. The administration’s centerpiece strategy is designed to ensure agricultural productivity and strengthen food security during these challenging times.

In this webinar organized by the Joint Foreign Chambers of the Philippines, Agriculture Secretary William Dar will shed more light on the government’s “Plant, Plant, Plant” program as well as various agribusiness and investment opportunities available for the business community. Learn more on how your company can play a bigger role in achieving the program’s overarching goal to ensure a more robust, sustainable, and inclusive agriculture sector.

For questions or any other inquiries, contact Riznha Mendoza at [email protected].

Note: A separate email with details on how to access the webinar will be sent to participants.
